I have met many people, both on and off the soccer fields,since I came to Canada. Few, if any, made an impact on me like John. Whether playing with, or, against him, it was always a delight to see him, as he was so well respected and admired by everyone. I will certainly miss our lunches together, and, lengthy telephone conversations, enormously. An absolute gentleman, who I will always be grateful to be considered one of his friends. You will be sorely missed and never be forgotten.
