It was in a hockey rink in Minneapolis where I first heard of Tom’s passing, a teammate of Tom’s from Tallahassee had given me the news. I was absolutely shocked and saddened. Tom and I were teammates and roommates in Cincinnati and in the two years we spent together I got to know Tom well. Tom had a magnetism and confidence about him that people just seemed to gravitate to. He was the perfect example of someone who lived life to the fullest. In the time I got to know Tom I realized his ability as a hockey player was but a fraction of what contributed to the character that made up Tom Neziol. I will hold the memories I shared with Tom forever close to my heart. My deepest condolences go out to Tom’s family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Doug Melnyk
