Nicola Pellegrino
Passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side, on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of 83. Much loved, adored and nurtured by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Franca, who never left his side. Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Angelina Pellegrino and in-laws Raffaele and Luigina Severino. Cherished by his children Sam Pellegrino and his wife Lisa, Angela Pellegrino and Dave Turrin, Anthony Pellegrino and his wife Teresa, Gina Uggenti and her husband Joe. Proud and much adored Nonno of his grandchildren Erica, Sabrina, Patrick, Nicholas, Marco, Lucas, Vanessa, Marcus and Anthony. Loving brother of the late Antonio and Felice Pellegrino, the late Francesco and Maria Pellegrino, the late Giovanna and Domenico Pullia, the late Francesca Caruso, Salvatore and the late Giovanna Pellegrino, Pasquale and the late Domenica Pellegrino, the late Angela and Antonio Muraca. Dear brother-in-law to Vincenzo and Rosa Severino. He will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Our Dad was a true pillar of tradition and family. His children were his first priority and his grandchildren stole his heart. There was nothing he wouldn't do for them. He was a lover of life, family, friends and his wine, which he took pride in making and sharing every year, along with his many other traditions. Nicola was also a proud member of Liuna Local 837 for 50 years. A very special thank-you to Dr. Philip Staibano for his unwavering compassion and care. To the many nurses and PSW's that assisted Mom in carrying out his wishes of remaining in the comfort of his own home.
