Dear Cathie

Over the past 42yrs I have had the priviledge of having a front row seat to your trimuphs, successes, as well as tradgedy and disappointments. You were so proud in 77 graduating as RN and with no jobs in Ontario it was off to Kalamazzo Mich. Patti and I loved the road trips for visiting it wasn't long you were back in Ontario applying your skill at Missisauga General. You loved being a nurse and your passion was pediatrics, the children and their families were so lucky and thankful for your loving touch and care. I remember your first brand new car a beautiful baby blue Camaro that no one was allowed to drive not even your favorite brother in law you were so proud of that car. We laughed through the double dates the ups and downs of relationships but through it all you bounced back stronger than ever and focused on being the best nurse you could be. You were front and centre when your nieces and nephews were born offering your love and expertise. If someone needed help you were the first call then the Dr. you always new what to say or do. Then along came a son of your own and with dificult times ahead your focus was the health and happiness of Michael. In Dec of 1990 your world turned upside down with another loss. We were living in Windsor at the time and that 3 hour drive seemed to take forever to get to your side. Your passion for health care never wavered and your support for your Mom and Dad was paramount. No one showed more dedication to family than you did. Your career path took you to your final work at Halton Family Health Centre you loved the challenge and the people and made lasting relationships. So many memories so much love it will be difficult to move forward. Hopefully the legacy you have left of love and sacrafise will motivate us and all especially to those who knew and loved you making this world a better  place. We owe you so much may you R.I.P. our dearest Cathie.
