The first time I met Skin was at a house party he threw in June/July 1980. I spent most weekends for the next few years in his company. The party didn't start until Skin got there - bandy-legged, pork pie, parka and that classic Skin smirk. The 80's - good friends, good music, good fun. I haven't met a character quite like him since. Rest in peace old friend. So young, so sad! Condolences to his family.
