Condolence:
Thinking of Joan always brings a smile to my face. She and my mom were such good friends. When mom would talk about meeting Joan for dinner, mom always had a smile on her face.

I am so grateful to Joan for those smiles and for her long friendship with my mom. It meant so much to my mom, and still does; that will never change.

Personally, Joan always made me feel welcome, included and appreciated, and I am sure that anyone who knew Joan was made to feel the same. It was her special gift.

To Bill and family, thank you for sharing Joan will all of us. She was a lovely woman. Thinking of her brings a smile to my heart and always will.

Condolence From: Joan MacLean
Condolence: Joan was my good friend for more than 40 years.

What began as a meeting at TOPS all so long ago, turned into one of my best friendships.
I have many fond and cherished memories of Joan:
• Dinners with lots of laughs after our TOPS meetings
• Outings to her house with my girls for a swim and lunch
• Trips to the cottage; the two Joans, the two Susans and an Andrea; and of course
• Many fun time with both Joan and Bill

I will miss her.

To Bill and her family, please accept my deepest sympathies and know that I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Joan was a wonderful woman and a blessing to me and all who knew her.

Condolence From: Bonnie Dooley
Condolence: So very sorry for the loss of Joan. I always considered her my aunt even though she was Mom’s cousin. She was just a great lady. Mostly she had me in stitches laughing all the time because she had such a wonderful sense of humor. As all of you go through the dark days ahead when the sharpness of loss hurts so badly please hold dear your wonderful memories of the times you had with her. We miss all of you and feel honored to call you our family. Our heart is with you.

From the Slemmons/Dooley kids in Texas: Ted, Bonnie, David, & Scott, Becky, Tim & Cheryl-
grandkids and great grandkids.
