Dave was my ( Nancy ) first coach. I learned so much from him, not only swimming skills, but work ethics, commitment and dedication. He never gave up on me just because I was a slow swimmer. Instead he encouraged and spent a lot of his time in making me a better swimmer. I remember once he said that for him, hard work comes before aptitude. Both Ken and I are honoured and blessed to have known Dave. We will never forget him.
