Obituary for Helen Anna "Retee" Griese (Petroff)
Passed away peacefully, at her home on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 92. Predeceased by beloved husband Ellard (2000). Loving mother of Carol Ann Fitzsimmons (Danny) and Michael Griese. Cherished grandmother of Bryan, Michelle and Jeremy. Great-grandmother of Daniel, Bryan Jr., Brandan, John and Eric. Dear sister of Mareea Steedman. Predeceased by sisters Doree Todoroff and Rosalee Leetham. Missed also by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. Private family interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions to the West Lincoln Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
