Peacefully at Macassa Lodge on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved mother of Thom Brown of Selkirk and Nancy Jo Brown of Vancouver. Cherished grandmother of Sarah and the late Dustin. She will be fondly remembered for her love of Hawaiian dance, her sense of humour and involvement with Acting Up Comedy Troop. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Joey’s Life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 12 noon until 1p.m. Interment at Mountview Gardens, Stoney Creek to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joey are asked to please consider the YWCA Hamilton-Seniors Active Living Centre.
