Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved wife to William "Bill" for 62 years. Loving mother to Arlene (Michael) Balsden, Jacqueline (Philip) Evenden, William (Naomi), Cheryl (Tim) Rosewell, Mary (Dan) Williams, and Kathleen (Michael) Hayden. Cherished grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Anita will be missed by her siblings; Marion (the late Donald) Schultz, Betty (the late Gerry) Lorentz, Patrick (Diane) Osborn, Bob (Joan) Osborn, Doreen (Herb) Simmers, Jerry Osborn, Judy (Ed) Proud, and Ken Osborn. Predeceased by her sister Helen Woodley.


Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church (196 Kenwood Ave.) on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10a.m. Cremation to follow.
