To Vicki’s family: May the light of Vicki’s soul be with you always and be retrieved in the cherished memories that you once shared. Vicki was one of my best friends. We met at a function after we both lost our jobs years ago. We supported and leaned on each other through difficult times ever since. Though I’m a writer, I’m at a loss for words to express my sorrow at her passing. If I can impart a message at this sad untimely event and loss, it’s to cherish and value the people who take the time to be supportive in your life because she did. Say thank you and give hugs more often because you never know when they will be taken away. I will always remember Vicki as she will have a special place in my heart and my life. Rest in peace Vicki.
