Bill was the most gentle person you could wish to meet. And we miss him already.

Bill was one of the best people that I ever met in life. Of course, I wouldn't remember our first meeting, because I was just a baby when my mother introduced us. But over time, whenever I was told that we'd be visiting Uncle Bill and Auntie Natalie, I knew that it was going to be a great day. Bill took me on my first ski trip when I was six years old and was patient and offered really good advice. Enough to let me think that I'd be a skiing pro in no time. Sometimes we would walk along the waterfront and he would tell me stories from when he was a boy and it was always a good listen. Cool and confident, never angry and always the right words to make people chuckle (or at least playfully roll their eyes). I only wish that I had the opportunity to spend more time with him, but I know for sure that he's in a much better place than anywhere here on Earth. I'll miss you, Bill. But I will admit that it is hard to feel sad knowing that you are so happy where you are now. -Nicolas Stanko

Bill was a special friend who we have known for many years. We sailed together and skied together and with Natalie we raced our boat around Bequia together and so much more. We will forever miss our Bill, but treasure the times we have had. Lots of love,

We are really going to miss that smile and the easy glow of friendship that Bill always gave off. Our lake just got a little emptier. “The highest function of love is that it makes the loved one a unique and irreplaceable being.” – Tom Robbins
