Obituary for David Wayne Picard

PICARD, David Wayne
Unexpectedly on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the age of 48. Loving husband of Silvana Picard (nee Spina), cherished father of Lucas and Olivia Picard. Beloved son of Wayne and Phyllis Picard (nee Priems). Predeceased by in-laws Angela and Stanislao Spina and his niece Christina Carpino. Much loved brother of Craig Picard (Stephanie Bean). Survived by brother-in-law Joe Spina (Louise), Luciano Spina (Susan) and sister-in-law Maria Camilletti (John). David will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews; Marisa (Ryan), Kristen, Keisha, Vito, Steven, Stan, Robert (Dana), Mario (Marisa), Larissa (Chris), Nicole (Joey) and great nephew Frankie. He will be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and colleagues at CMHC. David was a huge Rush, Argos and Leafs fan. He was an avid reader, was exceptional at planning memorable family vacations and had an unmistakable laugh. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:30a.m. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of David are asked to please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
