Blowey, Ronald Douglas
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, on Monday, July 10, 2017, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Barbara for 58 years. Loving father of Beverley Meincke. Proud grandfather of Paul (Krystal), Colin (Lisa) and Heidi (Mike), and great-grandfather of Phenyx, Savannah and Blair. Predeceased by his twin sister Hilda Hartman (late Albert) and sister Janet Pearl (late Robert). Thank you to the incredible nursing staff at Joseph Brant Hospital 5 West. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333). Interment at St. John's Anglican Churchyard, Burlington. Reception to follow at the funeral home. For those who wish, donations in memory of Ron to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
