Obituary for Elsie Doreen Thomas Richardson (Driscoll)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, on Tuesday April 11, 2017 at the age of 92. Predeceased by loving husband Donald Richardson. Cherished mother of Dawna-Lyn Richardson (Erik Dydensborg) of Burlington. Dear sister of Earl Discoll (late Hazel), late Harry Driscoll, and their families. Proud god mother and aunt of Neil Carter and his family. Beloved aunt of Lorraine Carter McDermott, Gail Driscoll, Maureen Guerard Gulland, Deborah Gammon Guthrie, Suzanne Quimper, Wayne Carter, late Brian Carter (Linda Carter), late Glen Driscoll, Mark Guerard (Denise Pilotte), Robert Quimper, Keith Manton, Barry Gammon, Ross Gammon, and all of their families. Elsie will also be missed by extended family and numerous friends. Private cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home (222 AutoRoute 20 / Cartier Avenue, Point-Claire, Quebec), on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 2- 4pm and Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10am until the Service of Remembrance in the chapel at 11am. Elsie will be laid to rest with her beloved late husband Donald at Lakeview Cemetery in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie’s memory to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
