Malcolm Murray

I'd like to send a message of condolence to aunty Margaret, my cousins Stephen and Richard and their families to say how sad we were at hearing of uncle Johnny's passing. He was the kindest fellow you could wish to meet. Always calm and measured and a great support for his entire family. My family remember or visit to Beamsville from the UK in 2007 fondly. The hospitality and kindness he showed our family whilst we visited there was amazing, giving us a taste of the wonderful life that they had found after settling in Canada many years ago. Our trip to Montreal was a highlight for us, with uncle Johnny showing us the ropes in driving the Canadian freeways, although we found it difficult to keep up with him, he could out drive us all. Our memories of Niagara Falls were amazing and we spent a fantastic day at the falls and at tourist spots around the falls and at Niagara on the Lake.It was a great experience for Phoebe and Chris who enjoyed their first taste outside Europe, Phoebe experiencing a Raccoon staring at her through the protective grill on the window. The days we spent on the patio, eating lunch and chatting by the pool were memorable in the surprisingly sweltering Canadian summer. Uncle Johnny was the master of the 'English Breakfast' and cooked the best breakfast outside the park Lane Hilton hotel in London. A true master of the kitchen. We will miss him greatly. Malcolm, Sue, Phoebe and Christpher.
