Gordon, Rose and Lisa Sutherland
Our daughter Lisa (Elizabeth) was a happy student in Mrs. Cathy Miller's kindergarten class at Elizabeth Bagshaw School for the 1987-1988 school year before it became Sir Wilfrid Laurier School. My husband and I were honoured to work as parent volunteers in her classroom program, which she coordinated with the other kindergarten teacher Ruth-Ann Funk. It was a joy to work with both these ladies.
Mrs. Miller was a spunky, energetic lady who enjoyed teaching the children in her care. We remember, with fondness, the kindergarten trip to the Toronto Zoo and Cathy's gracious hospitality when she invited her parent volunteers for a delicious year end Thank you Soirée.
We are happy to hear that Cathy enjoyed such a wonderful retirement.
