Cottage Fishing

My dad loved the cottage life. He loved to fish and sat hours on the dock fishing. I am most thankful that he taught my son, Evan how to fish. This past summer Evan and my dad spent a week at the cottage together. It was a magical week for the two of them. Pa cooked and Evan cleaned. They both fished for hours every day. Evan rubbed it in that he caught more fish than my dad but it didn't matter because it made my dad happy to see his grandson succeed. He let Evan be a boy and let him do some outside projects which included wood carving and learning how to light a BBQ. Pa we will miss your "paizms" and funny stories and looks ve of life. Watch over us at the cottage and help Evan continue to catch the biggest fish! Love always, Carrie
