Today we read the comforting and hopeful Word of God, "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." In your grief and sorrow, may the family take solace and comfort that your loved Ivan lives in that new creation, with all the promises of His Saviour fulfilled, and that you too will be with Him and reunited with your beloved Ivan in the sweet by and by. May God bless you all with comfort and strength to overcome. In His Grace and Love, Terry & Karen.

Losing a parent is never easy. I pray that you receive abundant comfort from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as you process the difficult loss of your Father/Grandfather Ivan. Please accept my tribute to memories of both your Dad, Ivan and your Mom, Alice, who leave a legacy of hard work, tenacity, and faithfulness in all regards. Both have made that mysterious journey (at different times)that has taken them from earthly realm into the presence of the Lord. With the Apostle Paul, we affirm: “ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (AKJV)

We will always remember the New Year's Eve we spent with your Dad at Brenda and Steve's place! It was quite a number of years ago, but that was all we needed to cement a lifetime friendship! He was a special man!
