Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, John Ross Floyd (2012). Loving mother of Lorraine Ryckman (David), John Floyd and Brian Floyd (Dorothy). Cherished grandmother of Doug, Matthew (Khey), Wesley, Greg, Brittni (Daryl) and Bradley and great grandmother of Jensen and Tessa. Joyce is survived by her brother Sid Colwill and his wife Ruth. As per Joyce’s wishes, Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 9:30a.m. until the time of a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30a.m. Reception to follow. Private family interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joyce to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
