A devoted family man, Vincent Di Pietro passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved family at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Anna Maria of 46 years. Loving father of Andy (Paula Meiling) and Stefania (Steve Pickett). Cherished nonno of Alicia, Dario and Divo. Dear brother of Armida Di Pietro-Tomasin (the late Cristofaro), Orfeo (Rita), and Mauro. Loved brother-in-law of Tony Petrone (Lina). Missed also by many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Special thanks to Dr. Heather Whittingham and the staff of the Hamilton General Hospital - ICU for their sincere care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday, February 25, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Bayview Cemetery & Mausoleum, Burlington.
