Passed away in Hamilton on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Capretta) for 50 years. Loving mother of Joe (Ramesh) and Carlo (Rosina). Cherished Nonno of Julia. Brother of Giuseppe, Maria and Rita. Luigi leaves many nieces and nephews behind in Sulmona Italy, Cleveland, Ohio and Hamilton and surrounding area. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (Nash Road and Barton Street) on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
