Condolence From: Rabab Salim
Condolence: Condolences in purple I was touched by the news of the sudden passing of Mr. Duguid. I did not hear about the funeral arrangements to come for few minutes to pay my respect. So, I wrote these few words in my name and in the name of everyone lined up in sorrow at Halton Women’s Place. I was saddened however; I never met Mr. Duguid … I know from work his son, our colleague Brent who is well raised… I saw in him respect, dedication, commitment that stand for higher values for social change… son like a father… as I understood that Mr. Duguid was a great supporter of Halton Women’s Place and was actively involved in the fight to end violence against women. Thus, it is not my words praising him… it’s his actions that speak highly about him… Rest in peace… wrapped with honour… lived in the loving memories and fond admiration of your family and friends…and in the community named a hero of every day… With my deepest sympathy… Rabab Salim
