Obituary for Anna Berneice Slack

Peacefully on December 28, 2018 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by her husband James Slack (2012), dear mother of David and his wife Debbie. Loving Nana to Kathryn and step-grandmother to Sandra and Heather. Survived by siblings Elverta MacLachlan (late Mac), McEwan Bryce (Donna Marie), Marg Bryce (late Wes) and many nieces and nephews. Also remembered by Donna Steene (Bill), Shirley Smith (late Gord), Joy Clements, Keith Slack (late), Ken Slack (Leeanne), Ron Slack (Agnes), Merlyn Slack, and the late Eugene Slack (Alma). Berneice enjoyed a 40+ year career at the CIBC on Brant Street where she provided friendly advice to her many clients. Her retirement was spent on the golf course and wintering in Florida with her loving husband of 55+ years and spending time with her granddaughter. A Celebration of Berneice's life will be held at the Water Street Cooker , 2084 Old Lakeshore Rd., Burlington, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 1-3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
