August 6, 1946 – December 27, 2018
Passed away peacefully after battling a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Cecylia. Walter will be missed by his brother Henry, three nephews and many extended family members and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington, on Monday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
