SINGER, Eveleen Josephine “Eve”

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eveleen (Eve) Singer on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Predeceased by her adoring husband Michael, Eve leaves behind her loving sons Rick and Bob, darling daughter-in-law Kelly and cherished grandsons Michael and Noah. Eve is survived by her brother Anthony (the late Joan), and predeceased by brothers Bill (Jean), Rex (Olwen), and Michael (Joy). Eve will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews in New Zealand, England and Austria. She will be especially missed by her loving sister-in-law Joy Tyndall, beloved friend Kay Rooney and the Rooney family who loved her dearly. A past member of the Burlington Golf and Country Club, lifelong volunteer in the community and participant of the Burlington Seniors’ Centre, Eve will be remembered for her extraordinary kind and generous spirit, intelligence, humour, and love of a good conversation. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON, on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 12 noon until the time of a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
