Obituary for John "Jack" Cornell Mountain
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Joseph Brant Hospital on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lois Mountain (nee Adamson). Loving father of Douglas Mountain and his wife Debbie of Stratford, Barbara Demopolis and her husband Bill of Burlington and Maria Mountain and her husband Tony Laycock of England. Cherished grandfather of Heather, Scott (Jennifer), Bryan (Sandra), Kate (Chris) and Kristen (Djinny). Proud great grandfather of Dominic and Shaka-Yokai. Predeceased by his dear brother David Mountain, his wife Kathy and his nephews James and Paul. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 1 p.m. followed by a Reception. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Wildlife Federation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
