Born January 4, 1926, Salemi, Sicily, Italy. Died Sunday, December 9, 2018 Burlington, Ontario in her 93rd year. Daughter of Giuseppe Fasulo and Tommasa Ciprino. Dear Sister of the late Gaetana Fasullo, late Salvatore (Petrina) Fasullo, late Marianna (Vito) Pendola, late Giuseppa (Gaspare) DiStefano, late Francesca (Giuseppe) Gucciardi, late Francesco (Lina) Fasullo, late Pasquale (Antonietta) Fasullo, late Paolo (Vincenza) Fasullo, late Rosa (Giovanni) Pendola. She will be missed by many much loved nieces, nephews, and friends in Canada and Italy. Departed Sicily November 1954 and immigrated to Canada to live and work in Toronto for the Eaton’s Company as a seamstress alongside her sister Gaetana. Married her Husband Mario Lentinu July 26, 1958. Relocated to Burlington. Having three children, Pauline, Gino, Maria & her children, grandsons Branden & Ryan. Lucia worked in various capacities as a Farm and Greenhouse Labourer for the Donaldson, Davidson, Jaggard and McMillan Family, as well manufacturing work boots at Emile Shoe Factory and as a Vegetable and Fruit Preparation Person for the Barn Fruit Market. Retired in 1986 at the age of 60. Lucia had an unprecedented skill growing plants from seed to seedling to vegetable harvest. Her talents extended to the kitchen. Her Italian cooking abilities shined, preparing wholesome, healthy and nutritious meals without the use of recipes.

Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, December 13 from 7-9 p.m., and Friday December 14 from 3-5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. JOHN’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, (2016 Blairholm Ave. at Brant St.) on Saturday December 15 at 10 a.m. Interment HOLY SEPULCHRE CEMETERY, OUR LADY OF VICTORY MAUSOLEUM, (600 Spring Gardens Rd. at Plains Rd.) Reception to follow at ST. JOHN’S PARISH HALL. (2016 Blairholm Ave. at Brant St.) If desired in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation or The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington.
