Condolence: I had no idea Maureen passed. I used to live on Elwood and so enjoyed our chats. She was an angel. So happy I met this shining light.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear about the passing of our Auntie Maureen. I am so grateful I got to spend some time with her in between the time I was at home. It was amazing to see the sheer joy and happiness she radiated with her birthday and enjoying the blessings of family and Grandchildren. No matter who she was with or what she was doing Auntie Maureen always brightened up those around her with her jovial spirit and warm smile.

Sending my thoughts and love to the Childerhose family from South Korea.

Condolence From: Jane McCarney-Rail
Condolence: Everyone has those few people they encountered along the way that truly made a mark on their life....Mrs. Childerhose was one of those people for me. I had the incredible honour and joy to have this amazing lady as my teacher in Gr. 2 at St. Joseph’s school in Oakville. I have such happy memories of being a student in her class and I know because of her I went on to successfully complete many more years of school. But she will forever be remembered and hold the special honour of being my absolute favourite teacher. One small anecdote - we would compete for the joy of holding her hand walking around the yard during recess and she also allowed us to play a game where we would draw out letters of the alphabet on the back of her leather jacket and she would guess them...many years later she shared with me that her jacket contained the scars of this game! May you rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord Mrs. Childerhose. “Well done good and faithful servant”. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family. Sincerely Jane McCarney-Rail

Condolence: Dear Bud & Girls: we are so very sad to hear of Maureen's passing. She was a bright light in the family, with her big smile where we always enjoyed the laughs we shared at family gatherings and catching up. She will be greatly missed, a broken link in the family chain, but never forgotten.
We both feel bad that we cannot be with you as an out of province trip happens, but our thoughts & prayers are with you.

Condolence: To Maureen’s Loving Family,
The world has lost a gem of a person in Maureen. Always upbeat and true to her ideals, she spoke her mind and you felt like a better person for hearing it.I was privileged to have worked with her, shared stories, and called her a friend. There was never any shortage of proud stories about her family - her love and appreciation for all of you was so very evident. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Condolence: Hi Bud:
We are so sad . It was a shock, as I just saw and chatted with her at the St. Raphaels Fashion show last week, which made me happy that I saw her. She was a lovely person who loved you and her family.
