Obituary for Peggy Edgington (Stephenson)

Died peacefully and painlessly on November 23, 2018 at 95 years old. She is pre-deceased by her husband Tony and her daughter Lorna. She is survived by her daughter Heather, grandsons Drew (Christine) and Stuart (Alison) and great grandchildren Evan and Chloe, all of British Columbia. Peggy was a proud member of the WAAF in WW2 and loved that she had played a drum in the air force band. She was a strong, and independent woman who loved golf and gardening. She will be greatly missed. Celebration of Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, December 4 at 1 p.m. followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
