Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Beloved wife of Stewart for 52 years. Loving mother of Karen Wood (Ian), Catherine Thier (Michael), Kelly Smith (Christopher Beard) and David Smith (Tracy McLaren). Cherished Grandma of Ethan, Maxwell, Natasha, Alexander and Nathan. Dear sister of Judy Hawrylyshyn (late John) and Joanne Dye (Norman). Linda will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Private Cremation. A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Linda’s life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation, 7 South, would be sincerely appreciated by the family. The family wish to thank the nurses of 7 South, specifically Dorothy, Jasmin, Nancy and Kathy for their outstanding care and compassion for Linda during her stay at Joseph Brant Hospital.
