Larry was somewhat responsible for my higher education. I made a mistake when I was working as a press tender and Larry was my pressman. Larry shouted at me and I, trying to cover my backside said "but I thought-" I was immediately cut off by Larry and he said "You're not paid to think, your paid to do as your told". After being blasted for a mistake, I took the mental stance that I'll show you, you -expletive-. I returned to school and spent the rest of my career being paid to think. Thanks Larry. I did tell Larry that story later and I think he was amused but also somewhat proud of himself. Thanks also for giving me your Harley Davidson hat. We became great friends. My sincere condolences to his entire family. You will be missed my friend.
