Nearing, Catherine Gertude (nee Desveaux)
Passed away peacefully at Albright Manor in Beamsville, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Adrian (2005). Loving and devoted mother of Richard, Ted (Lucy), Janet Driessen (John) and the late Darlene Matheson. Cherished Grandmother of Nolan Driessen, Justin Matheson, Christian Nearing and Carli Rose. Great-Grandmother of James Matheson, and Great Great-Grandmother of Keira. Dear sister of the late Evangeline Michalsky, Marjorie Mason (the late Johnny), John (Mary), the late Gordon (the late Agnes), Marshall (Kay), the late William (Kaye), the late Edward (Iris) and the late Gerald.Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 1:30pm. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:30pm. Cremation will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
