Beloved life long partner of the late John C Van Loon (2002) of Peterborough, both originally from Holland where the two fell in love, married and immigrated to Canada in 1957.

Will be sadly missed by her daughter Lydia and her two grandsons, Christopher (Alyssa) and Mathew.

She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandma, whose pride and dignity shone through even the darkest cloud.

Our sincere appreciation to all those who took care of her over the years, while residing at Empress Gardens in Peterborough.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, October, 12, 2018 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, 870 High Street, Peterborough at 2:00 p.m. (High and Landsdowne).


We thought of you today
But that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday

We thought of you in silence
We often speak your name
All we have are memories
And a picture in a frame
Your memory is a keepsake
From which we'll never part
God has you in His arms
We have you in our hearts
