Obituary for Justin Duane Marshall Sprentz

SPRENTZ, Justin Duane Marshall-
It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected and much too soon passing of our beloved, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and cousin. On Sunday, October 7, 2018, Justin Duane Marshall Sprentz passed away in a tragic accident at the age of 34.

People of all ages were drawn to Justin because of his beautiful, warm and infectious smile and his genuine and unassuming nature. He had that special twinkle in his eyes when he played with his nieces, who always looked forward to visits from their Uncle Justin.

Justin loved the outdoors and sports – skateboarding, snowboarding, cycling, soccer, hockey, the list goes on – and had a great passion for music. He put his math and spatial skills to use and his perfectionist nature doing good work in the construction industry. Most recently he was registered in a tourism and adventure travel program with plans to share his love of the outdoors with others.

Most of all, Justin loved and cherished his family, friends and his dogs. His dog Buddy was his best friend.

Much loved son of Marnie and Kevin Linder and Don Sprentz, adored brother of Jordan (Sandy) and Maggie Lodder (Jordan), dear grandson of Duane and Sheila Koch, Irene (Ron) Bushell and Doug and Elsie Linder, and cherished uncle of Raya, Charlee and Annie. Justin will also be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A visitation for all who knew and loved Justin will be held on Thursday evening from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington.

A funeral mass to celebrate Justin’s life will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Private Burial.

In lieu of flowers and in Justin’s memory, please consider a donation to The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Canadian Mental Health Association, or a charity of your choosing.
