Devoted son of Sylvia Ward (nee Kuntz) and the late Charles Ward. Dear brother of Charlene Ward (Danny) and Todd Ward (Caroline). Fondly remembered by Barb Miller (Dave), the extended Ward and Miller families, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins both in Ontario and in Western Canada. Darryl will also be dearly missed by his precious cat Simon. Darryl is remembered for his incredible sense of humor, his generous and caring nature and “enjoy every day” attitude. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday October 12, 2018 from 6-9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 10:00am. For those who wish, donations in memory of Darryl to a children’s charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
