A gardening friend
How sad to read of Joan's passing. Joan was a valued member of the Burlington Horticultural club for many years. We had the pleasure of working with Joan as volunteers looking after Mapleview Park in Burlington. Despite multiple health issues, Joan always provided knowledge, a sense of humour and her talents, She helped to keep the park a showplace for those who visited. It was an honour to nominate and see Joan get the Ontario Volunteer Service Award last year. She will be missed as a friend and Horticultural member. Our deepest sympathies to her family.
