SCHROEDER, Robert -
Unexpectedly at Welling Park Care Centre, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband for 60 years of Uta (nee Fricke). Loving father of Ralph. Cherished Opi of Ryan (Courtney) and Raedin (Katelynn) and Great-Opi of Sophia and Harley. Also missed by his dog Scooby. Robert and Uta have spent the last 30 years vacationing in Bradenton Florida. He will be fondly remembered by his friends both in Ontario and Florida. Private cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 12 noon until time of Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Robert was an animal activist, in his memory, please consider a donation to the SPCA in lieu of sending flowers.
