Arthur was a wonderful person. He was a kind and sincere man, honest and with high integrity. We spent many hours enjoying intelligent conversations about the past. He was a superb athlete representing Canada in both the 1948 and 1952 Olympic Games. I played golf with him at Millcroft many times over several years and I always enjoyed his pleasant demeanor.
