Peacefully passed away at Sunrise of Oakville, on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" (2016) for 59 years. Loving mother to Ian (Laura) and Gordon (Jane). Cherished grandmother of Sarah and Aaron. Eleanor will be missed by her brother John and David in Scotland along with her extended family there. Her brother Jim in Atlanta and cousin Betty(Sue) and family in Scarborough. She was a dear friend of George and Ann Beattie and Ann Boonstra. Eleanor cherished her family and times spent at her cottage in Muskoka and shopping with friends and family.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday August 7th from 4 - 8 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday August 8th at 10:30 am. Reception to follow. For those who wish, donations to Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
