Passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at The Chartwell Brant Centre Long Term Care Residence in Burlington at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Osyp "Joe". Cherished mother of Michael (Helen), Austin (Orysia) and Laurie (Jack). Dear grandmother of Taras, Danny, Andrew, Adrian, Sonya, Adriana and Michael. Great grandmother of Larissa, Taras, Austin, Alex, Aidan, Noah, Emily, Amy, Hailey, Aidan, Adam and Darryn. Great-great grandmother of Ryder. Predeceased by her brother Dmytro. Elizabeth will be missed by her sisters Anastasia, Anna, Mary and Jenny along with many extended family members and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at All Saints of Ukraine Church, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, Oakville.
