Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Charles Alan Espey (February, 2018). Loving mother of Sharon Weber (the late Dick Weber) and Paul Espey (Karyn Lumsden). Cherished Nana of Jennifer, Will and Nicole. As per Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Shirley are asked to please consider the Alzheimer Society of Ontario or the CNIB.
