Featherstone, Frederick Arthur

Age 75, after a valiant struggle with cancer, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on July 11, 2018. Devoted father to Faith (Thierry Leprince) and Scott; beloved and loving life partner of Carol Colling Haley; dear brother of Craig (late Doris), Ruth (Bob Battram), and Audrey (late David Johnston). Special friend to Lorena and Martin Twiss and Sheryl Haley, and adored Papa Fred to Kaleigh Twiss. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Fred was a gifted teacher who spent his entire career in Halton County. He loved to build, make, or fix, and was happiest when working on a challenging project, like building a mahogany boat, a Cobra car, or baking a cherry pie!

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 5 - 8p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:30a.m. followed by a reception. Interment St. Paul's Presbyterian Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to Lowville United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
