It is with broken hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Marion on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at McNally House, surrounded by her family, at the age of 53. Beloved daughter of Isabella and the late John Macleod. Loving mother of Sarah Nicholson and Iain Nicholson; predeceased by their father Bruce. Dear sister of Rob Macleod (Dara) and their children Maislinn, Stuart, Kayla and Morgan. Also deeply missed by sister-in-law Norene Broome and her boys Jayden and Ryan. Missed also by extended family, countless friends and colleagues. Marion was a dedicated and passionate kindergarten teacher. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, June 28, 2018 6-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 10 Mountain Street, Grimsby on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McNally House would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
