Obituary for William Frank "Uncle Bill " Adams
Adams, William Frank "Uncle Bill"
Suddenly passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on June 20, 2018, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Gail Adams (nee Timpson). Loving father of Wendy (Bill), Laurie (Joe) and Steve (Diana). Cherished grandfather of Nicki (Rob), Greg (Heather), Tara, Ryan (Tara), Nicholas and Trevor and great grandfather of Alexa.
Former Captain with the Toronto Fire Dept for 32 years.
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Juravinski and Joseph Brant Hospitals, especially Nurse Stacey in the ICU. She made the worst of days so much easier.
Uncle Bill will be missed for his one liners, his creativity and willingness to help everyone.
As per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to our family run charity "The Mary Morris fund" at Billings Court Manor in Burlington would be appreciated.
