Lauriene Elizabeth "Laurene" DePodesta (Hall)
DePODESTA, Laurene Elizabeth (nee Hall) January 14, 1923 - June 19, 2018

Passed at Burloak Long Term Care in Burlington on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at the amazing age of 95. With gratitude we thank all support staff for their genuine affection for our Mom. She was a character.

Together forever. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob) DePodesta, her devoted twin brother Lorne Hall and her eldest and youngest children Maureen and Kirk.

Incredible mother of three more children Colleen, Keith and Ken. Proud Grandma of Rob, Kate, Cole, Celine, Keilie, Leah and Matti. Great grand daughters Hailey and Savannah will really miss her.

Eldest daughter of 11 siblings, growing up in Downtown Burlington since the age of 10. She said she could never leave the water. Siblings: Albert, Emerson, Lorne, Laurene, Evelyn, Muriel, Ruby, Verna, Elsie, Melvin and Joan. Parents W.J.O. Hall and M. Irene Hall (nee Featherstone).

Private family viewing followed by private cremation and internment at Bethel United Church in Milton, built with the help of her family.

If desired, donations to Alzheimer’s (specifically Dementia) would be greatly appreciated.
