Stella, my dear true friend and ally.

Stella;

You are one of the bravest people I have know.  Your were a true warrior.  You did what was right and ethical.   You only thought of us your friends (and patients).

You carried me thru all the medical and surgical stuff.  You were a back bone, a crutch, a wheel chair and you carried me when I was fallenn.  Paul owes his existance to you.  He would not be if not for you.  You sallied forward fearlessly when other quaked and backed off and ran away.  You came to help at Paul's delivery.  The surgeon was sweating, but you kept cool and helped bring our boy into the world.

Oh the stories I could tell about you...how you got us into tea at the Ritz when they said they were booked, those crazy people at the bed and breakfast we went to, sitting in the gardens and doing our needle work, how we got you on the plane from London after they asked you all those scary questions.  Fortunately, you had patients to see, so you could not take the Queen Mary back.  We have had many shenanigans together.

How you saved my patients...your unique way of looking at things...when others had given up, you came thru and did in your words "if what you did the first, second, third time does not work, you do something different".  I use that Mantra my self now.

I will miss our twice yearly journey to Stratford.  How we did not always go the shows and went to the park or shopping or anything else we wanted to de if the show was a snoozer.

Oh Stella, you are one of a kind.  You will live in my and my family's hearts forever and forever.

Anjali, Ivica, Paul
