Obituary for Michele Stramenga

Michele Stramenga
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, and nonno, Michele, surrounded by his family on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Rachelina for 52 years. Loving and devoted father of Sandro Stramenga (Joanne) and Franca Pietroniro (Carmine). Cherished Nonno Mike of Breanne, Michael, John, Michael and Sebastian. Dearest brother and brother in law of Luigina Paradisi (late Francesco), Piero Stramenga (Evelyn), Lidia DiBrandimarte (Nandino) of Italy and Luciano Abbruzzino. Caring Zio of Rosella (John) Garaffa, Simonetta (Sean) Patrick and Andrea (Ernie) Kerst. He will be lovingly missed by many family members in Canada and Italy. We are comforted to know that Michele has been reunited with his parents Francesca and Sebastiano Stramenga. Michele was born in Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata, a town in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1956, where he worked as a mechanic. Michele enjoyed his retirement years gardening, tinkering around the house and spending time with his family.
