September 19, 1946 - May 31, 2018
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Joseph's Hospital. Beloved husband to Patricia for 38 years. Brother of Kenneth (Paulette) Andrews and his loving sister Robin Andrews (Sylvain Allard). Dear uncle to Lauren and Julia. Basil will be missed by all his family and friends. Basil was born in St. John's Newfoundland, moved to Ontario, met his beloved wife and they have called Burlington home for 38 years. Basil spent 29 years at Carlton Card in the printing press department. He is a die hard Habs fan, always cheering on his team. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1pm. For those who wish, donations in memory of Basil to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
