Obituary for Sidney James Pocock

Sidney James Pocock
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Predeceased by his wife Marilyn Pocock of 50 years. Loving father of Janice Marks (Joel) and Alan Pocock. Cherished grandfather of Harmony (Brandon), Melissa (Loren) and Addison. Proud great grandfather of Hailey. Survived by his brother Tom and sister Jane. Predeceased by his brother Baden and sister Emily. Sidney enjoyed a long, successful career as a supervisor at Mack Trucks Canada. A mechanical marvel, Sidney could fix anything. His love for music was only surpassed by the love for his family and four-legged companion, George. He was kind hearted, albeit stubborn, and will be missed dearly by his many family and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to Chris, Kara and Beverly for their kindness and support. In keeping with Sidney’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Kidney Foundation or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
